Musings on Mexico canyon country from an American retiree,living there part time and considering a permanent move My name is Bonnie Turner Zalewski,.I have a home in Tombstone, Arizona, and plan to spend approximately three months of each year there, some of which I will travel in the United States. The rest of the year, I will be living in northern Mexico, less than 300 miles from the U.S. border, in the Mexican city of Cuauhtemoc, a community of more than 100,000 residents.

- I have a degree in Interior Space Planning, a division of Architecture, from AUBURN UNIVERSITY, Auburn, Alabama, and I have owned my own businesses, at various points in my career. For over ten years I owned a large designer/architect wholesale showroom in downtown Denver, Colorado, and a branch in Salt Lake City, Utah. Beginning in the mid-eighties, I lived in Los Angeles, and was there for approximately ten years, then returned to Denver in the mid-nineties. Since then I have been primarily in sales. I moved to Tombstone, Arizona in 1999, which I had purchased a retirement property. I am semi-retired now, and spend most of my time reading, writing, and just enjoying life. I keep busy and I am content. I will probably sell my property in Arizona in the next couple of years, and permanently live in Mexico.
